How do you clean your bath tub? If you’re like me, you’ll get in the tub while it’s empty with the intentions of giving it a good scrub, but what if I told you it doesn’t have to be as hard as you think? We have a Jacuzzi tub in our bathroom and it doesn’t get used as much as the actual hot tub does. It’s nice to be able to get in and relax in the tub, but it has always been more convenient just to hop into the hot tub instead.
Since we have a Jacuzzi tub, it does take longer to clean it. You must take into consideration the jets and the area around each jet that just happens to collect a lot of grime. But with one simple trick, you will not have to scrub like a crazy mad man – or lady – and you can enjoy more of your own time with a glass of wine soaking in your clean tub!
One trick I was showed not long ago has definitely come in more than handy. Most people have a dishwasher now a days, and with a dishwasher, you will have dishwasher packets for each load! Have you ever thought to clean your tub with these? If not, then you’ll most likely start now!
So, it’s really super simple. All you have to do is fill your tub with hot water, put your dishwasher packet in, and when the packet has dissolved, run the jets for about 15 minutes. In this time I do typically do a little bit of scrubbing depending on how long it has been since I last cleaned it, but this way your tub will get a good dishwasher clean, clean.
After your initial clean, empty the water and refill the tub with clean water. You can use cold this time if you prefer, and cycle the jets again to get any left over residue out of the jets.
Voila! A super squeaky clean Jacuzzi tub!
