So I will admit that I am much past the point of wanting anything more than spending Christmas with my family and friends. I would normally not even think about toys only because none of my close family members have children the age that would love a surplus of new “in” toys. These toys are the ones that you cannot go without in your little circle of friends at school. At least that was the way it was when I was years younger.
I honestly never thought that I would be writing a blog post about what toys were hot this year for the holiday season, but I couldn’t help but get a little bit curious when I heard some of my co-workers in my office talk about these toys called “Hatchimals”
It seemed pretty self-explanatory when I broke the word down into two. “Hatch” and “Animals.” This is exactly what it is. Now I did have to do a little bit of research on this one as I knew nothing about them, but here is what I have found that might have you looking to purchase one of these cute little guys for your young ones.
There are four Hatchimals that you may hatch. These include Pengualas, Draggles, Burtles and Owlicorns. This toy is very interactive for young ones. They are recommended for ages 5 and up, and to be honest, this is something that would have been awesome when I was much younger.
In order to hatch these cute little guys, you must hold them, flip them, tap them etc. this will enable your new Hatchimal to break through the shell of its egg! Your Hatchimal will take between 10and 40 minutes to hatch, but the more you interact, the quicker this may go! Through each stage of its life, you will have to teach it things like how to walk, talk, play and dance. Such an interactive toy!
The Hatchimal will come with everything necessary to use it right away. This includes batteries!!!! I know one of the most frustrating things when I was growing up and receiving a gift that required batteries, was waiting days to go to the store to get a pack if we didn’t have any laying around.
How could you not want one of these furry little guys!? I know I would, and for your convenience I have added links below that will take you right over to where you can purchase one! Happy hatching!
