Delicious Strawberry Raspberry Smoothie Bowls

Smoothie Bowl

I will be the first person to admit that I would never eat a smoothie out of a bowl. For me, straws are life, so anything that I can drink out of a straw I definitely will. I have always been a very simple person, and I find it super convenient to be able to blend up a smoothie in my Ninja and twist on my to-go lid and off I go. Since seeing my first smoothie bowl online I never actually thought that I would try one just for the simple fact that I like the ease of a cup, but today was the first day I have ever made one, and let me tell you, I think I am sold!

I made a very simple smoothie bowl. I used my normal base and ingredients and topped mine off with a few other simple ingredients!

Ingredients:

  • Red Raspberries
  • Sliced Strawberries
  • Key Lime Sherbet
  • Cranberry juice
  • Fresh Raspberries
  • Chia Seeds
  • Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
  • Shredded Coconut

Now the recipe is super simple. I used about 100 grams of frozen raspberries and about 150 grams of frozen sliced strawberries. Depending on your preference on how creamy you want your smoothie bowl to be will depend on how much of the key lime sherbet you put in. I used about 75 grams. I don’t like my smoothie too thick so I filled my blender about three quarters of the way up to the top of the fruit with my cranberry juice. Now blend!

This should give you a very vibrant pink coloured smoothie! Pour it in a bowl and spread out your desired toppings! See? It’s super simple and you’ll love it!
